There were no alerts to this on the website or while I was booking that the shuttle was “first come first serve” or that you should reserve it more than a day in advance if you want an early morning spot. I’ve never had to reserve a shuttle more than 24 hours in advance before. Mind you we needed a shuttle for 4/4:30 in the morning. Upon check in we were informed that there were no more early morning shuttles available. I'd probably stay elsewhere next time if I don't need to stay near the airport.I really wanted to be okay with this hotels treatment of myself and my family but I just can’t in good conscience not warn others about our experience that almost cost us our early morning flight traveling w two small children and a lot of baggage after a 2 1/2 week trip around MO and AR visiting relatives. Small work out room (2 or 3 cardio machines and free weights) but better than nothing. Then I went downstairs and asked for a wine opener and they said they'd bring it to my room, and never did. ![]() ![]() Also, the clock in my room was 20 minutes fast - good thing I wasn't counting on that either. Cons: The front desk asked if I wanted a wake up call and I said yes - well good thing I didn't count on it because the phone in my room was unplugged when I got into my hotel room and I didn't know it until the next morning when I wondered why my phone didn't ring. I'll start with the pros first: Clean rooms, nice staff, good breakfast (egg and cheese biscuits, oatmeal, hardboiled eggs, cereal, muffins, etc), very close to airport, about 5 minutes from lots of restaurants, not too noisy, free parking and internet, provided shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc. ![]() I stayed at the Fairfield Inn for 1 night on business in December.
